TRADITIONAL DOMINICAN COUSINE
Enjoy the authentic flavors of the central Cibao region with the help of our specialized Creole cook.
Before selecting your menu, guests must coordinate with the cook to ensure the chosen dishes are within her expertise.
If you’re craving sancocho, asopao, locrio, stewed goat, oxtail, mangú with los tres golpes, Dominican bandera, moro, fried or stewed meat, salads, all this and more is available to you at no extra cost.
Important: Ingredients must be provided by the guests. Once the reservation is confirmed, guests will receive the cook’s contact information to arrange dishes and ingredient details.
If you wish to prepare a special dish outside the cook’s expertise, you can coordinate with her for assistance within her capabilities.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
During your stay, you’ll have access to a maid service to keep the property clean and organized. To ensure your comfort and privacy, cleaning will be done only in areas requested by guests.
Rooms will not be cleaned or organized unless requested by the guests. The maid will check with you regarding the cleaning services you require and will always be available for reasonable needs.
Important: If order and cleanliness exceed reasonable limits, additional charges may apply.
CONCIERGE SERVICE
To make your stay more convenient, a concierge will be available to provide logistical support both inside and outside the property.

Mata de Plátano is one of the most exclusive areas of Jarabacoa, considered the Casa de Campo of the area.
Very close to the Camú river, with totally crystal clear waters. Access is very easy, since the entire path is paved.
Moving around the area is comfortable, since everything is paved, however, we always recommend using GPS.

RENTAL RULES
Complying with the vacation rental rules is a requirement of the contract. Failure to comply with the following points may result in penalties such as loss or reduction of the security deposit.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
a) All guests (and any other person visiting the property) must comply with the rules of this vacation rental and other instructions provided by the host or property foreman, during their stay.
a) Guests must notify the owner/manager of any disputes and/or complaints by neighbors immediately.
b) Parties
NOISE AND NEIGHBORHOOD
a) This property has stairs, swimming pool and other areas where children need the supervision and care of parents and/or guardians. Guests will be fully responsible for the safety of children accompanying them during the entire stay, and for any disturbance caused to other residents of the neighborhood;
b) Noise caused by guests should always be moderate, and from 10:00 pm, the music should be only for the consumption of the group, without disturbing other residents of the area, taking into account that this is a provision of the Ministry of Environment, and the National Police to ensure environmental care and tranquility of the residents of the area;
c) Excessive, annoying, noxious or harmful noise is prohibited in any case and at any time, and may lead to the termination of the guests' stay, eviction, loss of the amount paid for the entire stay and a reduction of the deposit; Guests and their visitors are completely forbidden to behave in a disrespectful manner with the residents of the area, and should minimize their impact on these and the neighborhood in general, and according to the Ministry of Environment, could result in a fine of 3 to 20 minimum wages in force, plus the sanctions provided by the anti-noise unit of the Dominican National Police;
VISITS
a) Guests are allowed to receive guests during their stay, but the points set forth in sections B and D of this line must be followed, whether their visit is limited to activities during the day or if they wish to spend the night on the property. Take into account that a member of our work team will be on the property ensuring compliance with this set of rules;
b) Guests are responsible for not exceeding the number of guests allowed, and All guests must comply with the rules set forth in this document. If a guest wishes to stay overnight at the property, it must be communicated and approved during the booking process, and will be subject to any extra fees specified in the final price.

USE OF THE PROPERTY
e) Any party or gathering of many people is strictly prohibited;

g) It is forbidden to move the furniture of the property, however, you can move the plastic chairs, as well as the domino table;
PARKING
h) Guests and visitors must follow the regulations and requirements regarding parking and be considerate of neighbors and their vehicles, in case they need to park vehicles on the street; and
i) Instructions regarding vacation rental parking are as follows: Guests and their visitors shall take care of garbage in accordance with the instructions described below, and shall not leave any waste in common areas or public areas.
GARBAGE
a) Guests and their visitors must take care of the garbage in accordance with the instructions described below, and shall not leave any type of garbage in common areas or public zones.
b) Guests must collect all garbage derived from their stay, and leave it in bags or bags in the parking lot, to the left of the main gate at the exit of the property;
c) The supplies left by guests will be considered disposable and our staff will place them in the trash;
ANIMALS
a) Pets are not allowed in this property. In case of violation of this rule, the guest will have to pay a compensation of 50 USD, and could face the cancellation of their reservation, and eviction, as well as the loss of the security deposit or reduction of the same, in case we find any damage, caused by the pet;
SECURITY
a) Whenever guests leave the property, it is their responsibility to ensure that windows and doors are securely closed to maintain safety and prevent rain damage;
b) Guests must turn off lights, air conditioners, fans and electronic devices when they are not needed to save energy. They are not allowed to leave the air conditioner on when they are not in the house;
c) Guests are prohibited from activating smoke and carbon monoxide alarms unnecessarily;
SWIMMING POOL AND JACUZZI
a) For safety reasons, glass objects are not allowed near the pool. In case of non-compliance with this rule, part of the deposit will be reduced, and if broken glass falls into the pool, the pool must be emptied and refilled, so we will deduct 100 USD from the deposit for this process;
b) (If applicable) Guests must supervise any infants or children when using balconies, terraces and stairs;
c) Guests must not walk wet outside the pool or jacuzzi area, especially, inside the house, and are responsible for their safety in doing so;
SMOKING
a) Smoking is prohibited inside the enclosed areas of the property, however, smoking is permitted in the open areas;
b) Cigarette butts or waste from hookah use must be placed in the ashtrays and/or receptacles provided for this purpose, and not on the ground. In case of non-compliance with this rule, part of the deposit will be reduced.
BARBECUE (BBQ) and KITCHEN
a) The barbecue area must be in optimal conditions for cleaning;
b) The utensils and instruments used for cooking and barbecue must be cleaned by the guests, however, our staff will clean the grill;
DAMAGES AND MALFUNCTIONS
a) Any damage and damage must be reported as soon as possible to the owner/manager. In case of non-compliance with this rule, part of the security deposit will be reduced. Y;
b) Any damage and damage caused to the property or its furnishings will be deducted from the deposit, and in case the damage exceeds the value of the deposit, the guest agrees to make payment before leaving the property. CHECKIN PROCESS
a) To check in the property, the host Ariel Abreu will make a tour with the guest, delivering the inventory of the furniture in good condition and working properly, and by signing this agreement, the guest responsible for the reservation affirms and confirms that he/she has received all the furniture in such conditions;
b) In the event that the guest detects that something belonging to the property is not working properly, he/she must inform the host immediately;

CHECKOUT PROCESS
a) One hour before checkout the guest in charge of the reservation must make a tour with the host Ariel Abreu throughout the property to verify that all the inventory is delivered complete and in good condition;
b) The guest must hand over the keys of the property to the host Ariel Abreu.
NON-COMPLIANCE
a) Failure to comply with any of these rules is a breach of the terms and conditions applicable to the vacation rental agreement.
b) The owner/manager has the right to terminate the guest's period of stay if the guest fails to comply with the rules of this home or causes a nuisance to neighbors and other residents of the community.
AGREEMENT
By signing the checkin and checkout of the property, the guest confirms that he/she agrees with all the rules of the property, as well as the compliance with them.
