For river and nature lovers, it’s important to highlight that Villa Bartolo is not only just 5 minutes from the Camú River, but also 7 minutes away from one of Jarabacoa’s most iconic spots: El Salto de Jimenoa Dos. You can find it on Google Maps. It’s an incredible place, not only for its canyon views but also for its hiking trails. You can also explore the surroundings on foot, either by following Ébano Street to the end, or by walking along the road that passes right in front of the house. That same road offers a truly rewarding experience.

About the Camú River:

This part of the river is ideal for outdoor activities such as a refreshing swim or a game of dominoes while cooking a traditional sancocho. One of the reasons this river is so beautiful, crystal-clear, and clean in this area is because this is where the Ébano Verde Scientific Reserve begins, extending all the way to Constanza. This means no human activities are polluting the river beyond this point.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

The use of the jacuzzi heater has an additional cost of USD 35 per night.

This amount will only be charged if you wish to use the heater; if you don’t use it, it will not be debited.

Here’s how it works: the jacuzzi heater runs for 2 continuous hours, and once turned off, the water remains hot for approximately 4 more hours, allowing you to enjoy up to 6 hours of relaxation. Just let us know what time you’d like us to turn it on, and we’ll take care of everything.

GOURMET CREOLE CUISINE

Enjoy the authentic flavors of the Central Cibao with the service of a cook specialized in Dominican Creole cuisine. Before defining the menu, guests must coordinate with the cook to ensure that the chosen dishes are within her knowledge and skills.

If you’re craving sancocho, asopao, locrio, stewed goat, spicy oxtail, mangú with the traditional “tres golpes,” the Dominican bandera, moro, fried or stewed meats, salads—all of that and more is available to you at no additional cost.

Important: Please provide the ingredients. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the cook’s contact number to coordinate the dishes and necessary ingredients.

If you’d like to prepare a special dish outside of the cook’s expertise, you can always coordinate with her to receive support within her capacities.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE

During your stay, you will have maid service to keep the property clean and tidy. To ensure your comfort and privacy, staff will only clean the spaces requested by the guests.

Rooms will not be organized or cleaned unless specifically requested. The maid will consult with you to determine the services you’d like to receive and will always be available to address any reasonable needs.

Important: If the level of cleaning and tidying exceeds reasonable limits, additional costs may apply.

CONCIERGE SERVICE

To make your stay easier, you will have a concierge who will provide logistical support both inside and outside the property.

- Has a motorcycle available for errands.
- Can help you purchase supplies before or after check-in.
- Is available for any needs that may arise during your stay.

Staff availability hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

SPECIAL NOTE

During Holy Week and on dates next December: 22nd to 26th and 29th to January 2nd, the property is rented for a minimum of 20 people. If the platform does not allow you to select more than 16 guests, don’t worry—we will send you a separate charge for the 4 additional guests.

HOW TO SEE THE ACTUAL COST OF YOUR RESERVATION

Rates are dynamic. What does this mean? Prices may vary depending on the number of guests and the season, offering maximum flexibility.

To get the correct price:

- Select the exact number of adults and children attending. Prices vary depending on the number of people.

- If the platform only allows you to select up to 16 guests, don't worry: we will send you a separate invoice for additional guests.

For each person exceeding the 16-guest limit, an additional charge of $36.76 USD per night will apply.

Visitors not included in the reservation will be charged half the additional guest rate.

Villa Bartolo is located in Mata de Plátano, one of the most exclusive and beautiful areas of Jarabacoa, and just 20 minutes from downtown.

The house is surrounded by nature and a beautiful forest landscape. Its location allows guests to connect with the forest and breathe fresh air. It is located at the beginning of the Ébano Verde ecological reserve; therefore, it is completely free from pollution thanks to the coniferous forest and cold-climate plants.

Mata de Plátano is an exclusive neighborhood, so all the houses in the area are luxurious and beautiful. Villa Bartolo, however, is more secluded from the other houses, making it more private, exclusive, and equally luxurious.

There is a minimarket just 5 minutes away, which offers home delivery during the day; however, we recommend bringing your supplies before your arrival for your convenience.

It's paved up to the property. This section is called Mata de Plátano and is a dirt road. It has two sections where vehicles other than front-wheel drive or 4x4s must ascend at speed. The poor condition section isn't long, but the two short sections aren't suitable for low-clearance vehicles.
